MEET HUNTER BAKER
Being a native of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Hunter Baker has developed strong personal and professional relationships in the community. Hunter began his career in the Construction Industry in 2014 when he started a company offering IECC Energy Testing and Energy Efficiency services. A local residential building company later hired Hunter as their Residential Home and Energy Testing Inspector. During this time Hunter honed his skills for identifying home system deficiencies, building code violations, construction errors, and potential future issues.
Hunter was later promoted to a New Construction Project Manager position where his strong communication and organizational skills allowed him to work his way to the position of Construction Lead within the company. During this time Hunter managed multiple high end custom home builds simultaneously. In 2018 Hunter took a position with a reputable company as their Charleston Commercial Construction Manager. This time spent working in the commercial construction industry allowed Hunter to work along side architects, engineers, and municipalities throughout the design and construct process to produce high-end commercial projects.
Hunter had a drive to return to working one on one with clients to bring their visions to reality, which led him to starting Hunter Baker Homes and Renovations. Hunter holds certifications as a SC Duct and Envelope Tightness Verifier, an Energy Star Partner, and holds licenses as a HERS Rater, SC Home Inspector, and a Residential Builder.
In Hunter’s free time he can be found enjoying Charleston’s beautiful outdoor scenery while spending time with his wife and two sons, hunting, fishing, and boating.
